Hi, Jac;
in your table, we can see:
Return Probability
10% 0.2
14% 0.1
15% 0.3
16% 0.2
17% 0.2
(I restored the original format)
The best way to analyze statistics (at least I consider it so) is by performing statistic functions after entering data with [SIGMA+]. [SIGMA+] is a standard function that collects n-column, single row vectors in Level 1 (RPN entry) in order to compose statistical data. This way, matrix (SIGMA)DAT is generated (something like):
[ [ 10% 0.2 ]
[ 14% 0.1 ]
[ 15% 0.3 ]
[ 16% 0.2 ]
[ 17% 0.2 ]]
After that, performing MEAN returns a single row matrix with the mean for each column. The HP28/48/49/50 series allow a n-th column matrix as data for statistics computations, and some functions apply to all columns, like MEAN and SDEV (Standard Deviation). Other functions/commands (like forecasting) need the target columns to be selected prior to execution (default goes to first and second columns).
Hope this helps (and hope my answer is accurate; I have not a single manual nor a calculator to check names and procedures, though...)
Cheers.
