I have an HP-82901M with two drives. Everything seems fine and I can get 100% read, write and copies between drives.
Problem is that it takes about 15 minutes to copy from one drive to the other using:
COPY ":D700" TO ":D701"
The destination floppy is already INITIALIZED. Should this take this long. It does not seem to be experiencing any retries. I mean the drive lights just alternate between drives as if everything is fine with very little head movement sound.
15 minutes to copy a less than 300K floppy???
