HP 35 Oddity

I recently aquired a 35 and was suprised to find across the bottom YOKOGAWA-HEWLETT-PACKARD and the usual HP logo replaced with Y-H-P (still inside the blue/black semicircles). The machine was made in Singapore and the rear label is in English.
Never seen another HP like this,(I have a couple of others also made in Singapore).
Anyone care to comment?

That's the Japanese version. Hewlett-Packard and Yokogawa Electric formed a joint venture in Japan in 1963, where Yokogawa Electric would market HP products in Japan with YHP or Yokogawa-Hewlett-Packard as the brand name.

This naming scheme was dropped in 1995 in favor of "Hewlett-Packard Japan Ltd."
