Yep - I believe the "Other" site has it available for download, although I also think that it is a 'scanned' HTML copy. Donald ▼

He means www.furlow.org->some section about the HP41. We must not publish direct links to this site , due to some confusion at HP regarding copyrights. I am not sure if we may post links of that, but there is another HPMUSEUM in the NET, and it also contains material about the 7470a. Hope someone understands my hints...

IIRC, these sites do not provide any manual for the 7470A. However, the 7475 manual is available on the hpmuseum.net here along with some 7470 brochures.. The 7475 is a 6 pen plotter, the 7470 being a 2 pen device. I don't know if there are other differences but reading the brochures should help.

Besides the 6-pens, the HP7475 handled both "A" and "B" paper sizes (8.5x11 inches and 11x17 inches) or the nearest European equivalents. The smaller 7470 handled only 8.5x11 inch paper (or the European equivalent). I don't recall any differences in the HPGL programming commands for these two models. There was a later replacement for the 7470 that had more pens---I think it was the 7440 with 8 pens, but don't quote on that! (-: --Mark
