Strange bidding history

Post: #3

Look at this: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=9736145745

There's only *one* bidder, but the price rises every time this one and only person bids again. Anyone having an explanation for this?

Is it possible that there was a reserve?

Don't know. Pretty nice red dot though.

Hi,

Yeah nice one, but what I do not understand is how the red dot could be lost, it is deep in the calculator, no one will would touch that ever I assume ?

Also the alu name tage stickers are missing I think to make it a 100% complete set.

Doesn't the red dot show only when the calc's turned on? These pictures have it turned off.

A Red Dot without a red dot? I`m not shure: Is this an original one or has this HP-35 been assembled from spare parts in a service department somewhere?

That's just because the first bidder bid a very high maximum. Every time someone else puts in a bid, eBay's proxy bid system automatically increases the original bid and the same person is still the winner. It looks odd because the bid history doesn't show who made the losing bids.
