Haha - that's hilarious. If you'd mentioned his name it might have helped to alert other buyers/sellers to avoid him but it might also have been grounds for ebay to remove it, so it's probably better as is. There's probably enough information in there for people to surmise his identity. Well done!

Well done, Daniel!

Note that you can choose to block bids from particular eBay members. See: http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/manage_bidders_ov.html#blocking
I suppose that a really determined bidder may just bid under an alternate identity though.

Daniel --
I fully agree that any requests to establish a BIN price -- and especially his requests -- are quite presumptuous, and deserve harsh rebukes. However, the "grieving widow" remark might have been a bit over the top. Also, was it ever ascertained whether those mocking comments about engineers in the MoHPC Forum were actually from the notorious eBay seller himself?

LOL - not much more to say
btw. he contacted me about selling me expensive "slightly used" stuff, since I did bid on similar items... I haven't found an option to block these questions or ebay-IDs :(

Indeed. Bravo.
Has anyone actually identified bubba and his location? That would be useful in case he uses multiple eBay IDs.
