Any one knows if there's a pdf or ps copy of the manual in the subject?
I didn't check at the MoHPC DVD, but since I don't mean to buy it in the short period, it's no use for me the advice to buy it.
Thanks in advance

I can't locate an Italian manual, but if Spanish could do (they're quite similar languages, after all) you can download the Spanish manual in PDF format directly from HP by clicking here Best regards from V. ▼

Thanks, I did download it, but I was looking for an Italian version hoping there was something about usage according to Italian legislation. Hope Spain and Italy share some common laws... -- Antonio ▼

Hello!
Quote: I always knew that Italy has some, lets say: 'strange' laws (lived there for 20 years myself...), but I never heard of any legislation concerning the usage of pocket calculators until now :-) Greetings, Max
NB: I have Italian manuals for the HP-97 if that helps in any way? Edited: 26 May 2006, 7:06 a.m. ▼

What I meant was: Do Italian financial laws accept calculations of n/i/PV/PMT/FV just as the HP-12C does? Do Italian financial laws accept the 12C depreciation calculations? Or the bond calculations? Or the AMORT ones? I'm an engineer, so I don't know exactly how things go in the financial market. And since I own a 12C bought from UK (with english manual), I wanted to know if I could use it in Italy to preview my expenses. Simply that. Thanks to everyone. -- Antonio ▼

Hi Antonio,
Quote: OK, now I understand! But laws change, somtimes every year, especially tax laws!, and the manual for the 12C was written 25 years ago - so even if you manage to find an Italian one, you still would not know if the calculation methods of 1981 comply with the current legislation, would you? Greetings, Max (also an engineer - who relies entirely on the wisdom of his tax-advisor when it comes to financial issues) ▼

Hi Max,
Quote: I guess you're right. Silly me. Legislation is something so weird (especially in Italy) that a 1981 manual can be totally unuseful. Anyway, I renew my request: Is there any Italian manual for the 12C in pdf form over the Internet? Thank everyone, and Max too, of course! -- Antonio ▼

Hi Chris, May you scan this manual in a pdf file? Or is it for sale? Let me know. -- Antonio P.S. don't worry about other languages... I'm afraid the world will speak only English and Chinese, in a while, and all Chinese will know English (because they have to use computers...). So you probably speak all the necessary for the rest of the times... -- a sad Antonio again |
