eigen values and eigen vectors

could you please me show how to calculate de eigen values and eigen vectors of a matrix, i found the commands EGV and EGVL but i can not diffirenciate EIGEN VALUES and Eigen vectors.

On a HP48, EGV delivers eigenvectors and eigenvalues, whereas EGVL gives just the eigenvalues.

What calculator are you using? The 49 CAS can give symbolic eigenvectors with the old 48 EGV command.
