During use, my HP48Gx, display froze, with screen solid black. I've tried various resets and checks, including system halt and Electrostatic Discharge. Keyboard is disabled, replacement of batt. does not help. I fear the worst!

Any ideas?

A coworker experienced the same symptoms with his 48GX yesterday. Removing the upper right (face down) rubber foot and and pressing the reset button through the hole with a paper clip fixed his calculator.
