Hello,
This post referred back to an older thread in which I posted up a question of the HP 33s displaying flashing "Memory Clear" message and doesn't respond to keystokes. After changing the batteries everything is fine again. So it is a matter of the fact that the 33S doesn't warn us to replace batteries. Just to remind all those who are using the calculator to keep in mind of that to prevent data loss. One way to check is to run a long program or a program that loops for say, 500 times. The battery warning sign would still come up in those case (but not in normal calculator operation).
Regards,
KC
