The problem of the L() and G() functions on 17BII+ is due to the registration of variables in the 2 functions. It can easily be fixed by running a null equation containing all the variables to be used in the L() function. For instance, if you want to use the variables AA and BB in an equation containing L(AA: expr) and L(BB:expr), you need to run an equation such as Y=AA+BB to initiate the registration of these variables first. Just press CALC and no need to enter any value. Then, you can perform the specific L() and G() functions without any problem. You only need to run the null equation once unless you perform a deletion of the variables.
