Will overclocking a 49g+ lessen the skipped key problem?

#3

Since not having the clock on the display seems to help the problem a little bit, I was wondering about overclocking.

Maybe you could check comp.sys.hp48 about this topic;-)

My answer is: Overclocking alone doesn't solve the problem,

because missing keystrokes álso happens when the calc goes

from lite sleep to travelling speed.

This is a design flaw. I don't know if this will ever be solved.

You have several options:

- type slower while carefully watching the display

- miss keystrokes

- buy an HP-48

However, VPN (as a 49g+ fan) might have another answer...
