Hewlett Packard cleaned out another cubbyhole and found a stash of "new", never sold, stainless steel pens for the HP-01. These are the pens that have a ballpoint in one end and a stylus in the other - both retractable by twisting. I intend to offer these as rewards for people who scan manuals for future CD sets, and to give them an idea of what to scan, I'm starting the following contest:
Take a look at:
http://www.hpmuseum.org/software/swcd.htm
And this list:
HP-80 Real Estate Applications
HP-41C Navigation Pac
HP-41C Chemistry User's Library
HP-19C/29C Finance Solutions
HP 9825 Operating and Programming
HP 9825 Advanced Programming
HP 9825 String Variable Programming
HP 9825 General I/O Programming
HP 9825 Extended I/O Programming
HP 9830 Math Pac
HP 9880 Mass Memory Operating Manual
I would like everyone to post the names of out-of-production calculator, early 98xx and series 80 manuals that are missing from the two lists above. (Including ROMs, application pacs user's library books etc. but only HP documents please.)
I'll give pens to the 3 people who can name the most unique missing manual names. Repeating a manual already posted by someone else doesn't count. It's OK to make multiple posts (in fact, due to the previous rule, it's a good idea so your ideas don't get "taken" while you're thinking of more) just keep your name consistent so I can add them up. Start posting now! This contest will end 72 hours after this message was posted.
Terms: I am the final arbiter of who gets or doesn't get a pen. (What do you expect for free!) I will be following the rules above as I understand them. The ballpoints are not guaranteed to not be dried, even though the two I tested did work! These pens are still in individual plastic bags for protection so I'm not going to take any more out and get fingerprints on them. It may sometimes take a few weeks for me to ship them. (Again, great service for the price!)
