tough 41s

I just remembered that my collection of calculators was stored briefly in my roof -- about 3 years ago.

Tin roof, temperatures in summer exceed 50C (and then some)

41's still looking good (no display damage).

Yep I left batteries in them, several with nicad packs, the N cells were left out of the calculators.

And guess what -- none of them lost memory! All the programs are intact still!!!

Amazing.

p.s. I promise to give them a better home.
