I got mine exchanged from the local distributor in Hong Kong last Friday after having a lengthy discussion with HP. They told me that they will do the exchange for customers in NA and Mexico and promised to pass my case to the master distributor in my region. The distributor in Hong Kong is .. Ricoh and they are quite helpful at the beginning. However, when they learned my 1 year warrranty period has just lapsed they are quite reluctant to do so. Anyway, they finally agreed to exchange mine. For those who wish to have the exchange, I suggest that you do act fast before your warranty period.
The L and G functions are back but I still cannot implement my old Black Sholes formula. It may due to my input error and any hidden changes that HP has not spelled out. I shall try again later.

The manual (version 2) states that it is applicable to units bearing serial numbers CNA410xxxxx or later. I hope this piece of informaiton may help but you really cannot have a look of the serial number from the package. Perhaps the unusual sticker appearing on the package is a clue!
