Fresh batteries. No corrosion or stain. No activity. Any suggestions?

Open it up (screw under each foot) and clean all the internal pressure contacts (battery and CPU board) with 91% isopropyl alcohol.

Check for broken screw posts and bosses under the battery contact assembly. Fix with plastic welding solvent (from a good hobby store).

First try a memory reset. This is the softest possibility with which I could restart some HP-41.
