HP's new? web pages.

Post: #4

This may be old news but have you looked at HP's calculator web pages recently?

Appart from the missing links and typo errors (see if you can find the HP 9g!) the impresion is HP are trying harder to sell their goods, is this evidence of cange from HP or have they just spruced up their public relations a bit? Has HP reacted to the advice from

http://www.hpcalc.org/hp48/docs/misc/hpmarket.zip
(worth reading if you get the chance)

and putting more effort in trying to sell to their traditional markets?

The HP32Sii described: 'it's a sort of super calculator:..'.

The HP32Sii is OK but I think HP is going a bit over the top. HP used to make much better pocket calcs (HP41/42)

The HP49g has far more emphasis on it's RPN ability and is promoted at the top as a calculator suitable for 'professionals in math, science and engineering'. No more reference to students - have HP given top honours in this field to the TI89/92? I can't find any links to the HP49G documentation though (does this mean they are writing some new 'guides'? - please!)

Tom.

I've seen the new website, hmm... at least it looks like
a new cover for the same stuff.
But Carly's picture on the title page is cool... ;-)

I want large pictures of the calculators, so i know how the new one's look like. Like TI has on there webside. When you click on the picture you'll get to see the larger picture.
Thus, you know how it looks like.
