Sorry to start over but the thread with jokes in was getting a bit long.
An engineer and a physicist were told one of them could go into a room containing a very atractive woman. However they would start 10 feet away and every second the distance between them and the woman would halve. The physicist was given first choice but rejected the offer complaining bitterly "but I'll never get there", the engineer gleefully acepted and said "yes but I'll get close enough".
