I wish...

That my beloved HP-28S was permitted for usage while taking the PE exam. I've had it for many years now and don't want to cheat on it. NCEES is unreasonable. Waaah!

If it finds out you've been hanging around with that fancy, fashionable new 33S, you'll be in BIG trouble.

Take care.

And he would have substituted a beloved and elegant 28er by a flashy 33er. Hummmmmm......

I consider myself lucky. I took the electrical PE exam with a pair of 48S calcs. Its a pity the NCEES would regulate the use of calculators like that.

BTW, is Fubar your first name or is it an acronym?

Did you operate one with your left hand and one with your right? Where did you hold your pencil? (or perhaps I shouldn't ask)

Take care.

For the PE exam, the backup calculator should be the same as the primary calculator. This follows Murphy's Law.

I won't say where I held my NCEES pencil but I will say that the proctor refused to take it back from me at the end of the test!!

yes, my name is Fubar. My mother, Snafu, named me after her late father.

I particularly like Jeffrey_G's novel idea for storing the pencil.

I am looking into buying a 32SII. I'm ham-fisted and the 33S has too many keys for me. I, I also just don't like the way it looks. Silver colored calculators remind me of TI's. The only TI I really, really liked was my TI-66 (which I still have - and it's got a printer, too!).
