Walther Mechanical Calculator

#5

Got a new toy. Very cool! Very fast mechanical multiplication and division. However, I can't figure out the purpose of two controls.

One is below the carriage on the right and the other is on the carriage to the front.

There's an owners manual online at:

Is this the same Walther Co. that makes pistols & submachineguns?

Damn, gonna have to get one... A Walther in the gunsafe, a Walther outside the gunsafe!

Yes it is.

Just make sure you've got a trigger lock on that thing, if you're not going to keep it in the safe. You wouldn't want weapons of maths instruction to fall into the wrong hands . . .

. . . also, when you empty your clip in self defense, you can follow up by throwing the calculator rather than the unloaded gun. The calc is a much heavier projectile.

I was atthe hardware store today buying WMD's... weapons of mouse destruction. It'll teach the little goomers to gnaw on my spark plug wires...

Do you have to be "Licensed to Calculate" to own that?
