HP48G+ vs HP 39G?

#3

Does anyone else think like I do that the HP48G+ is a much better machine for the same 89.95 price (see Amazon.com) as the new HP39G? I'm speaking a bit out of turn since I have not yet brought myself to buy a 39G but would be interested to hear from those that have that also own the G+/GX. It makes one wonder how much longer the 48G+/GX series will be with us considering the 39G and 49G.

Sadly once HP drop the older models (32, 48, 17 etc.) without having any real quality alternatives (HP42SII?)it will be the final 'nail in the coffin'. Lets face it, HP is not what it used to be :-(
