I downloaded emu48, and have attempted to trace through what the calculator executed to do a square root (5 enter SQRT).
After stepping through hundreds of lines, I am almost convinced that I never made it to the actual algorithm. It seemed to be stuck in the housekeeping portion of the ROM.
Can anyone offer me any advice on how to trace through SQRT or other numerical functions? Or better yet, are there any ROM maps around? I can only guess that someone has looked into this already.
