I did a bad, bad thing. I misaligned the 4-pin serial cable connector with the mating connector on my 48G+ and pushed the calculator's 4 pins in too far! I pulled them back out with a needle-nose pliers, but the calculator won't communicate serially anymore.
I guess I have no other choice but to open it :-( so I can re-solder the pins on the inside. With all the different instructions of how to disassemble a 48, can anybody recommend the best, first choice method? Or should I send it to someone that has experience? Upgrade memory at the same time to 256KB+ (currently has 128KB)?
