I dusted off my 41C after several years of non-use, only to find that it will shut itself off after being on 10 - 15 seconds.

New batteries are installed, tried master clear, still no luck.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately, my 41 (the one you referenced in your link, Randy) didn't cure itself after cleaning w/ alcohol. The next step is to buy the MoHPC CD's/DVD to determine the capacitor (type, size, location) that needs replacing.
