Great pictures! I saw another set of satellite pics in the paper yesterday, however the difference wasn't as dramatic.

You've got the proof right here!! Notice the bright straight line extending from Detroit to Montreal after the blackout? I mean, it couldn't be anything else!!!!!
I heard there were also crop cirlces found on the ground all along that line.
As far as I'm concerned, this gets Norm off the hook.

Excellent photos of the blackout!
BTW, a guy from my office had to drive from Newark Airport to our office in Connecticut that evening. He was picking up two european business partners at the airport---they landed at exactly the time of the blackout! I guess the europeans will have some stories to tell!
Anyway, he said that driving by NYC with absolutely no lights on in any of the buildings was him just about the eeriest feeling imaginable. The only feeling that trumped it was the feeling he got after September 11, 2001, driving by and not only seeing, but feeling a hole in the skyline.
