HP-41C or V?

#4

Sorry to ask such a basic question, but I'm new at this model. I bought a lot on eBay that included an HP-41CV.

When I turn it on, it only shows 63 memories, like a C. Could it be a C in a CV case, or is this a loose internal module or what?

Thanks for a little help.

You may expand program memory by reducing the number of registers using the 'size' function. I.e. type XEQ [ALPHA] SIZE [ALPHA] 017. That should give you 302 registers programming space which is equivalent to about 2000 bytes. You may reduce registers further but then you have to relocate the statistics registers (IIRC) if you intend to use them.

Thanks. That works.
