You should see this... Voyager related!

Hi, folks;

About two years ago, I found a FESTO catalog and I scanned some images, mostly related to their workbenches and general look. I was checking these images a few moments ago and I found this one particularly interesting.

The image "speaks" for itself.

David, if you need to remove this post because of copyright violation, please do it.

Enjoy it, folk~s!

What is Festo?

Hi;

FESTO is a German Co. dedicated to the development of servocontrolled devices. It develops custom or general-purpose equipment and is a lot known in Brazil, mostly in tecnology schools.

You may find it directly: www.festo.com .

I know FESTO as a company that makes a lot of pneumatic components like cylinders, valves etc.. I used a lot of their products in my work.

Hi, Chan Tran;

you're right. FESTO's primary activities are related to pneumatics, but they have gone further and are getting into servocontrolled devices and robotics. I'm not shure if they have "joint-venture"d to some other companies or groups, but I saw some FESTO educative workbenches, from pneumatics to robotics, that made me think seriously about building a complete FESTO-based development lab, educational level. I did not have the time to do it, unfortunately, mostly because the school I was working on for three-and-a-half years (1999-2002) decided to go for other markets (food technology).

It seems to me that FESTO followed today's needs. As a German company, it does not surprise me.

Best regards and thak you for your remind.
