You can set the number of digits displayed in several ways:
1. f FIX n where n can be from 0 to 9 sets the calculator in fixed mode where n is the number of digits after the decimal.
2. f SCI n where n can be from 0 to 9 sets the calculator in scientific mode where n is the number of digits after the decimal but the display shows an exponent such that there is always 1 digit to the left of the decimal. Because of the space for the exponent, the maximum number of digits displayed after the decimal is six.
3. f ENG n where n can be from 0 to 9 is similar to SCI except that the calculator shows all exponents in multiples of three. Also, n is now the maximum number of digits displayed . The displayed number of digits after the decimal will vary because the calculator only changes the exponent in increments of three.
