I don't have one to sell, however I might have some information that will help. The connector on the drive, inside the cavity that the battery pack goes into, where the battery pack itself connects to the drive, is a standard two-pin connector. You can buy it many places. All you need is a 6 volt source to power the drive. Tony said that you should have a source that can handle 2 amps. I've seen them powered with wall warts and external battery packs. Of course you would need to be able to charge the pack if you use one of your own design externally. The charging circuit was part of the original battery pack and was powered by the "standard" HP wall wart 82059 that put out 8vac, 3W. Obviously it could not power the drive, just charge the pack.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
maybe I have that suitable battery drawer for sale.
I'll look in my stock, if you're interested.
As I mentioned in another post,
the original replacemnet battery pack from Panasonic
costs about 11 to 12 Euros plus shipping here in Germany.
No fiddling with discrete cells, just a five minute replacement of the whole block.
I could include a new Panasonic block, just drop me a note via email.
Regards,
Raymond
