ROM/RAM editing program for HP-41

Recently while I was reviewing the book by W Mier-Jedrzejowicz entitled Extend your HP-41, I noticed that there is a program in the back called "ED" but this program requires a PPC ROM. This program will allow editing of programs byte by byte. I used to have a Zenrom and a PPC Rom but not anymore. Is there a program out there like "RAMED" in the Zenrom that I can use on the HP-41CX without having any plug in ROM's? I would like to perform editing like I did when I had the Zenrom.
Please advise,
