I need help with a HP 97 Calculator adapter. I have
taken the battery pack into "Battery Plus" and had them
recharge the batteries. They informed me that the adapter
is no good. I cannot locate a adapter. Radio Shack had
only 7.5 and 9.0 adapters. They said that I need a 8 VAC
and nothing else would work. The guy said is I could locate a adapter that is equal in voltage, I could cut the
end of the plug off the old adapter and wire it on the new
adapter. Can you help me concerning the adapter and let
me know if I could use the 7.5 or 9.0 and not hurt the
calculator.
Thank you,
Debbie Scheibner 1-800-342-7458
