I did not use the link and did a search for 'HP Prime ebook' and found the book. However, like BruceH, I only saw a cover and table of contents.
I don't know how eBooks are priced, but going off of $1.00 iOS and Android app prices, my initial reaction is that $5.00 is pricey for only 53 pages (again, I have not seen the actual eBook, only the table of contents). The actual hard copies of manuals go for about $10.00 (e.g. HP 48GX manuals on eBay).
If your ultimate plan is to add more content, why not make the starting price even lower? This may get you more initial buyers (and reviewers). And then ask your actual buyers if they would consider a more extensive eBook for a slightly higher price. It sounds as though you want people to not only buy the book as is, but also give feedback and comments.
As it stands, I see no incentive to spend _any_ money on any ebook esp. when the author admits:

Lastly, if you started out because of your interest in HP calculators, then just continue doing what you do out of pure interest. If it's good, then people will eventually find it and buy it.
