I am looking for:

1. a utility which will allow importing .dbf or .csv files to .gdb. Importing tables is my objective.
2. a simple macro which will enable use of a database file as a lookup source for calculations within LOTUS 123, or the calculator
3. ir communication with an hp 48?

GDBLOAD/GDBDUMP will do what you need for (1) and maybe (2). I don't know about IR communication with a 48, but I'm sure that you'll get an answer if you post to this list:
