HP-11C "horse racing" version

It's for sale you know where (not by me), Buy it Now, item No. 360716838307.

Such a calculator was briefly discussed here almost ten years ago:

http://www.hpmuseum.org/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/hpmuseum/archv013.cgi?read=42507

It would be interesting to know what Programs 1 and 2 do; I would guess that they had to be keyed in and might no longer be in the machine. Documentation of those programs would be nice to find.

i guess that with a little care and some de-solv-it, one could carefully remove the label and restore the calculator to its former glory. the worry would be that removing the label might damage the printing underneath.

I think the value of that calculator is because it is a "horse racing" version. Otherwise, there is no reason to pay that price.
