It seems that I can get a cheap 41C without battery soon. I just want to get some information about the battery in case I won't destiny it. Thanks!

You will need 4 batteries of type "Lady" = LR1, 1.5V.

Occasionally "without battery" means a previously installed Ni-Cd battery pack is missing. In that case either a Ni-Cd battery pack (preferably rebuilt) or an N-cell battery holder will need to be acquired.
