Printer compatibility for the HP27S

I've recently seen the HP 82240B IR printer offered on ebay and I wonder if it's compatible with my 27S. In case it's not, I'd appreciate advice as to what printer to get for it.

Yes, it is. The HP82240B is fully compatible to the HP82240A printer mentioned in the HP27S user manual.

The HP48 use a special ESC-sequence for the HP82240B printer to change from the HP27S compatible Roman8 font to the ECMA94 font used by the HP48.
