Hello to all !
Are the X<>Z and X<>T functions present on a standard HP41 or HP41CV ? (which I no longer own).
Thanks for your reply.

Yes, the X<> function can be used to manipulate the stack. Example:
XEQ ALPHA X < > ALPHA . T Implements X<>T. The < and > alpha keys are located on the Shifted COS and TAN keys respectively. HTH Mark Hardman ▼

The function sets of the HP-41C and 41CV are identical. The CV is simply a C that has four additional RAM modules built in. Additions to funtionality came only with the 41CX, the best HP-41xx version by far. But unfortunately, it wasn't available until five years after the HP-41C was first introduced. ▼

******* I have been a 30+ year user and (heavy) Programmer of the HP41CV/CX for which I just finalized a full 64K Celestial Navigation Software with its "NAVIGATOR's and ASTRONOMER's Guide" well underway by now (at last)... I earlier developed all this Software on the RAMBOX II made by W&W Software GmbH (Germany). The HP41CY - incorporating a RAMBOX II inside its casing - was an AMAZING extension to the HP41CX. (I am also aware that there were other equivalent RAM boxes on the market by that time then, and that a "new, much improved and much faster" HP41 has come to life most recently as it has been extensively addressed on this HP Forum). In the last 10 years or so I have entirely switched the development of all my Navigation Software onto the "magic" HP41X/Y/Z Software by HrastProgrammer running on the HP48GX/49G/50, as well as onto the equally "magnificent" Emu41 Software by Jean-François Garnier running INCREDIBLY FAST under MS-DOS. ******* I no longer have my HP41CV/CX documentation with me since I now live in Mauritius where I fly the A340-300. Somebody has got to do it :-) ! ******* In addition to all the TIME Module Functions of which I already have a comprehensive list, would you then mind indicating to me which are the specific HP41CX functions which were added to the "standard" HP41C/CV inventory. This list is not very important, and as I can recall we find in it the "X<>Registers" exchange Function. Thanks to you Mike, in advance for your Kind Understanding and for your reply

I assume that you are the "Kermit" who now and then posts on NavList. Funny how one runs into people. AlanS at NavList ▼
