hp-45 stopwatch

#2

I'm new to this forum so I don't know if this is an old topic; forgive me if it is. I bought a hp-45 right after they came out and remember several co-workers showing me how by pressing several keys together and in sequence, you could use the calculator as a digital stop watch. As I remember, it wasn't very accurate. Anyone here heard of that and remember how it was done?
Thanks,
John

On the main page of MoHPC here, look under the heading, "the Classics", and then click on the description of the HP-45. It has a paragraph describing the timer function and how to control it.

If you wish to tinker, the main page's Collecting & Using Section has a pointer to the article on "Adding a Crystal to the HP-45".

Have fun!
