Neil Armstrong past away today after complications from cadiovascular surgery this past week. He was 82 years old. The moon is a much lonelier place now.

He was a true pioneer!!! We will miss him! He took a small piece of the Wright Brother airplane with him to the moon! He sent it back to the Write Brother Memorial in Kitty Hawk, NC. It s on display there! Namir

Just got the news on FaceBook and added a tribute to him and the Apollo 11 Mission. I was just under 7 years old when this happened. I was glued to the TV, along with an estimated TWENTY PERCENT of the entire earth's population. He is the first hero I remember having, after my Dad. RIP Neil. ▼

I remember being on vacation in Beirut, Lebanon, when Apollo 11 landed on the moon. To celebrate that even I went to see Stanley Kubrick's movie Space Odyssey. I saw a video tape of the landing on the moon, as Lebanon TV did not have direct feed to the moon landing. Namir |
