It's surprisingly easy to make this work, once you know what you have to do. Figuring it all out wasn't easy, however... (My Windows 7 desktop is acting as a PPP server, since I don't have a dial-up internet access account. Theoretically, it would work via modem if I did.) ▼

Are you running WWW/LX? I used this a bit years ago with a dialup modem, it worked fine but was awfully slow. Email was a more usable. ▼

Yup, with HV doing the actual web browsing duty. It's rather pokey, but not unusably so. |
