good list!

I'd add only one thing, and that's that Webb's RPN calc (nthlab.com) is programmable on a level that makes it a really fantastic programmer's and financial calc.

I think it is #2 on the list - or did I miss it ?

No, you didn't miss it- I wasn't very clear in my writing. What I meant is that I'd label it as a scientific/general/financial programmable instead of strictly scientific. (I still use it on my girlfriend's Visor for grocery shopping math. Price per ounce/gram, discounts, tax, coupons)

And then of course you have atleast two HP41
emulators. I use Coconut quite often. Almost as good
as my real HP41. :-)

#8

Johnny,
The thread was about RPN calculators, not HP simulators. See my list of HP simulators at:
http://www.hpmuseum.org/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/hpmuseum/forum.cgi?read=21984

The list includes both 41emulators and some other interesting ones.

#9

Well, the HP simulators *are* RPN calculators.

I have rpnPopCalc on my Palm, but once I found coconut
I started using that one instead.

#10

I agree, HP simulators are RPN calcs. But there is a difference in doing a good RPN calc and doing a good simulation. NeoCal is a very good RPN calc, and does not try to simulate an HP - so the user interface is very appropriate for a palm, but you dont't get keystroke programmability. On the other hand, coconut is a very good HP simulator, user interface suffers from this; on the other hand you get HP-41 programability.
