aOT--Battery/battery contact care advice needed

Hello all.

Although I use distilled vinegar and a Q-Tip(R) to clean the battery contacts of my Woodstocks, is there a better method and/or fluid? Further, what fluid and method would be suitable for cleaning contacts on Classics, Spices, Pioneers and Voyagers? Thanks
