I see the "HALT" function, but nowhere the "CONT" button / soft button to continue with a program.
CONT is above the ON button (left-shifted ON).

What is the proper way to store a series of variables (STO MENU)when loading a program?
I'm not sure what you mean exactly (especially by "when loading a program"), but to store a series of variables just put them into a list (e.g. {A,B,C}) and then use the STO> button to store this list in any other variable (or directory).

Hi Rudi,
Welkom op hierdie forum!
I think several forummers here have experienced your frustration moving from the 28s to the 50g (well, myself certainly - I lost my 28S & programs in the same way a few years ago and also got the 50g).
Firstly, do you have all the manuals? See HP-50G manuals for several manuals (the one you would probably most want to use is the Advanced User's Reference Manual).
There are also some training modules (note the wrong claculator is pictured on this page).
My 28S days are a bit hazy, but I think you are referring to Custom Menu's. Search for "Custom" in the PDF's. (a place to start would be p1-52 of the AUR v2).
CONT is found on the ON key (white-shift).

Hi,
how are you getting on?
I just realised you are probably requiring info on the MENU and TMENU commands. Again the best I can do is refer you to the Advanced User's Reference. As you work through your programs, you'll probably come accross more such changes.
If you have more specific questions, feel free to post again, I am sure some of the 50g whizzes here will be happy to help.
