HP Calculators in the U.K.

#8

With my renewed interest in HP calculators I spent some of today looking for a supplier of these units in the United Kingdom. Despite a lot of searching I cant find anyone in the UK who sells the current range of HP calculators. I looked at amazon.com but they wont ship HP calcs outside the USA. Does anyone know of a supplier in the UK who still sells HP calculators? Have HP stopped selling these items in the UK completely?

If you are located in London you may visit a small shop in the city of London (near the undreground station Bank) which offers HP calculators. Their Internet site is:

www.wfsleath.demon.co.uk

Whwn I was there (nine months ago) they had all the current models available.

Hope that this helps.

Did you look at www.ebay.co.uk ? There were some 41cx NIB for sale.

I got my HP32Sii from WFSleath, as mentioned in one of the above posts.

In addition, in Tottenham Court Road in central London there are a number of hifi/computer/electronics shops that still sell things like HP12C, HP17s etc.

If like me, you are interested in older second-hand HP calcs like the HP67, then in the UK it appears to be impossible. I've attended many car boot sales, and only ever saw one: an HP12C which I got for 50p!

I bought my 32SII from http://www.rms-marketing.ltd.uk/ last November but this now shows as 'out of stock'.

However the rest of the range appears to be available.

A good place that sells just about all of the current HP calculator models (i.e., HP 48GX, HP 10B, HP 10BII, HP 12C, HP 17BII, HP 19BII, 20S, etc.) as well as accessories, is Calcpro website www.calcpro.com. They are in Corvallis, OR, USA; but will ship to overseas locations in Europe, Australia/Oceania, etc. I have bought from them many times and have had good dealings with its manager, Paul Nelson. Good luck!
