How to fix a broken butterfly wing

Interesting. I never knew such a thing could be done, I would have imagined that using cardboard to brace a butterfly's wing would only make matters worse, throwing the butterfly off balance.

Most butterflies I know won't allow even touching their wings without fatal damage - seems to be different for Monarchs.
