international standards markings

There was a thread a while back about the markings found on the back of HP calculators. I mentioned the crowd of symbols that were found on items that met all the different European standards (one of the things the European Economic Community is trying to address). I happened on a website (www.electricord.com) that shows a number of the symbols of the different standards organizations. Look at the bottom of their homepage:
