I just got an 01 with a damaged band/bracelet. The uppermost link with a slot for removing lower links, is missing the spring and pin. Is there a way to remove this damaged, permanent link. The link above it doesn't have a slot for removal of this link.

Also, the crystal does not say Hewlett Packard on it, but all the pictures on the Museum (and TAS) do. This is a gold watch with dark keys, S/N 1707. Any ideas about this?

I think the Hewlett Packard lettering was printed on the crystal, I just saw one on TAS the other day that had the lettering wearing off. As for the band, I'd ask a reputable jeweler, they might be able to repair the link.
