Does anybody have any idea of a source for the silver-colored paper that's needed for the HP9120A printer that sits on top of a 9100 calculator? The printer uses a static discharge to burn the characters into the silver-colored paper - standard thermal paper won't work. Any suggestions on a source for such paper (no matter what size, it can always be cut down) are appreciated!

This sounds similar to the paper used on some home computers - at least Sinclair, and possibly others. I don't know whether it's still available, but you might try asking in newsgroups or websites that collect Sinclair / Timex memorabilia. ▼

I think Radio Shack also had a printer in the early days of the TRS80 that used the "silver paper." |
