3. With respect to returning to DECM mode. Page 22 of the manual says that [->][H.MS] will return to DECM. However, when I try this from Integer mode, I get the error: "Bad Mode Error". My key presses for [->][H.MS] are: [->] [f] [STO]. Am I misunderstanding what is intended here?
A documentation error I suspect. No [->] is required as far as I was aware.

4. Running a simple SOLVE to compare against the 15C LE:
LBL A
x^2
5
-
RTN
On the 15C LE, this yields 2.2361 with intial guess of 0 and 10 in the Y and X registers, respectively.
On the WP-34S, I initially get the "Solve Failed" message, but after clearing the message with EXIT, the correct result is displayed in X.

I just flashed the Rev 1653 firmware. A few observations:
1. The previous discussion of FIX, SCI, ENG, ALL, setting DECM mode while in Integer mode has been realized.
Except ALL, that had been in the manual for long already ;-)

H.MS as well as ->H.MS work in DECM exclusively as explained in the index. I will change the table you quoted. Thanks for pointing to it.
