You can't order them yet because it says "out of stock". Don't think these have ever shown up in this listing before.
12c 30th anniversary edition is there as well.

It's even on sale at the moment! Let's just hope that it does not sell out to the TAS sellers before we get a shot at it! Cheers,

Particularly if it makes more people aware that this exists. Maybe someone should buy several and list them on ebay for cost + $10 or such with a link to the hpshopping.com site. :-) ▼

Let's hope HP changes the "out of stock" status with a "come and get it" status. Is the HP-12C 30th Anniversary also a limited edition? Anything unique about that machine? Namir

I got the impression that the 15LE will be available at the end of this month??? Yes? No? Anyone?

There appear to be eight 15C's listed on TAS at the moment prices running from $61 (with active bidding) to $500. Wonder what this will do to those prices. Hopefully HP will make enough that this will pull the rug out from under these sellers. Mind you, I often see buyers paying MORE on eBay than they would direct from the manufacturer, so who knows. If I was selling an HP-15C on TAS, I would end my auction and wait for a few months.

I also think the new 15LE will affect the HP-11C, which I consider to be the 15's younger sibling. Who wants to buy an HP-11C for $150 when you cn get the new HP-15C LE for less???

On close examination, I see that the 15 LE has algebraic option. I was wishing that HP remained true to RPN only. :-( ▼

RPN ONLY. NO CHANGES to the original 15c other than blinding speed. Don't worry. ▼

So Gene, do you already have a review unit for your review article that surely we all are really eager to read? :-) Saludos, Miguel

look carefully at the HP calculator page link given by Gene. it says • Limited collector's edition • Perfect gift for scientists and engineers on the go • Up to 100x faster than original edition • 120+ built-in functions with RPN and algebraic entry

Sounds like the web page designer did some copy-and-paste from other models and included the "algebraic" part too!! Mir

Hi, Like every HHC 2010 attendee, I received a prototype at the conference. After 11 months playing with it, I can assure you it is pure RPN, no algebraic. It is just the original HP15C at amazing speed ! Patrice

No paper manual! No mention of the emulator! From a different page:

Marwan, What really matters is the unit itself. If what I read is correct and the LE is just a much faster implementation of the original, then the old manual is still good and accurate. The new manual is of secondary importance. As for the emulator, there are already several emulators for Windows, and for the iPod/iPhone/iPad.

Hi Namir, True, but quite a few people here would really like to see a paper manual. Not that the lack of one will keep me from buying! Cheers, -Marwan ▼

My understanding is: A new, very nicely prepared paper Owners manual and a new nicely prepared PDF of the advanced functions book on CD. 98% sure that's what it is. Don't know. Don't have one of these yet. There are only going to be 10,000 of these made. Each one is individually numbered and comes in a very nice, different box/package. ▼

In the Product Description on the web site, the "own a classic" sentence is (almost) duplicated.
Own a classic: each calculator is stamped with a unique limited-edition production number. The first line is the best one, in my opinion. Also, the reference to "complex calculations" may be more specific; it's not a "complexity" issue, but the ability to work with "complex numbers".

The 12C 30th is on the wrong page, someone messed up. It's listed as a graphing/scientific calculator. |
